QOTW: If you had to pick one song to play continuously in the background of your life, which would it be?
Anonymous Hi. I'm a girl. I basically fell for this girl who does not really feel the same way. She's in a troubled spot in life and she doesn't want a romance. She enjoys hanging out with me as friends but she knows that I like her, and I constantly flirt and compliment her. I guess my real question is, am I wasting my time trying to be with her? Or is it worth going through hard feelings to be good friends instead?
Ally - I’m sorry it sounds like youre in a tough spot. At first I thought this girl didnt like you because of sexuality reasons but after reading the question again it sounds like she doesnt want a relationship because of whats going in her life. I personally think whats ever is meant to happen will win out in the end. I defiantly think it is worth it to be friends with her. It might be hard to be just friends with her sometimes but if you feel for this girl then you probs like her personality. Thats even more reason to be friends with her. If shes going through a troubled spot then I bet she needs your friendship more than ever (most likely i dont know the situation). If you stay friends with her then you can enjoy time with someone you care about and when her hardship ends maybe you two can be together. If she only likes boys then the situation is slightly different. its always hard to be around someone you like like and know they dont feel the same. that hurts youre heart (everyones been there its sucks booty). i still think you should try to be friends.
